Oregano is an extremely aromatic green herb, native to the Mediterranean & Southern Europe, Oregano is closely related to marjoram.

 'Hot 'n Spicy' prefers a sunny site and does not particularly enjoy prolonged wet winters, but its hardy nature means it can remain evergreen through the winter months.

Compact Oregano is an extremely aromatic dwarf herb  with dark green leaves and a mound forming nature. Grown primarily for its culinary use this variety also makes an attractive foliage plant, and will form a spreading mound, it is a really pretty plant too as from midsummer to autumn it is covered with clusters of tiny pink flowers.

Ideal for the front of a border in your herb garden or herbaceous border, a rock or gravel garden,great as an edging plant and good ground cover,  it's also happy in a planter too.
