Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis - Micro Sward Plant- 9cm pot
Also know as Carpet Grass, great in a shallow pond or in a bog area.
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis a great pond and bog plant to keep the water clear and give oxygen.
It can grow very compact, but a "lawn effect'' (4-7 cm tall) is only achieved at high light intensity.
Place in an open position without shading from other plants to ensure good light.
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis can be used in any size of garden ponds, and also tolerates low salt concentrations in brackish aquariums.
Bog plant best placed on shelves or shallow areas within a pond.
Marginal planting depths are provided as a guide only, with the depth being the amount of water between the water surface and the top of the pond basket.
We recommend that 9cm marginal plants be potted up into a larger pond basket to allow room for growth. Make sure to position these smaller sized plants no deeper than 25% of the maximum recommended planting depth to allow the plants to mature.
