Hyssop, Blue – Hyssopus officinalis is a semi-evergreen hardy perennial.

Narrow aromatic leaves with beautiful small blue flowers in the summer.

The flowers are also very attractive to bees & butterflies.

Hyssop makes a fantastic hedge or edging plant.

Clip back in March and deadhead to prolong the flowering period.

Hyssop also looks great in a pot on the patio.

Plant in a well drained, sunny position.

Easy to grow

Chop and add young leaves onto salads or use to flavour soups, stews and fruit dishes.

Hyssop is said to also aid the digestion of fatty or rich foods.
